  1. ummmmmmm..........don't know. I wouldn't have thought so though, but more than your 95 quid jobby
  2. Don't think any other motor will fit the TI Mark apart from the warn TI motor! Look here
  3. Sorry for the hi-jack I would be interested to know what difference a complete 3" system makes over standard or other performance exhausts?
  4. The progressive springs on the back of my bob are just over 20" long and dislocate around 4", and make a hell of a lot more noise than normal dislocation bangs and clangs
  5. Strange one Chris, if 205's rub then I really don't know It may work putting custom springs on but then again it may not as it would still remain the same height.
  6. Right, I have given my swampers to my dad and am keeping the wheels to fit 35/10.5 simex et. Great, but I also have 4 mickey thompson competion baja claws standing around (35/13.5 r15) and thought, "Would I be better off running two sets of wheels and tyres?" Obviously not better off as it would cost me yet more money! However, will I regret selling the mickey thompson's when I am driving on the sandy sites that I go to and have dug big holes with simex? Should it be that I keep simex's for mud, and mickey's for sand/hardpack etc.? BTW, both tyres (if used) would be run on beadlock wheels TIA
  7. Hmmmm Chris, I am abit puzzled on that one Are your current springs that you are running +2"?
  8. BMW have fitted things called "bi-turbo's" i.e two turbos, however one is very small to spool up quick and then once that one runs out of puff the other (bigger) one spools up and away you go
  9. And then the probelm comes when you bump into something or slide into something which hits your extended arch, as I found out they are much stronger than a rr wing! It pushes it in. Nothing that you can't pull out with a tad of strength
  10. Yep, pretty good machine that is I have only used those tyres and wheels that are on it in the picture twice and have already given the tyres to my dad and am going to pick up some 35/10.5 simex et at land rover fest! I change my mind quite alot! Very good tyre though, would highly recommend it, unless as you stated you drive on the road. My setup on the road is nearly classed as dangerous beadlock wheels (not balanced), very soft, long travel suspension, and soft compound tyres that tend to scwirm all over the place! Have a look here though bobtail in action
  11. Sorry Chris I don't no what rates mine are. I gather you have some rather offset wheels. My predition would be these are causing your tyres to rub. Do you know what backspacing they are?
  12. Chris, I am running gwyn lewis challenge mounts front and rear with +5.5" rough country dampers. Springs are scorpion progressive on the rear and normal on the front. The springs on the back are suppossed to be on a 90 and for some reason give 70mm lift on the rear (also have D44 relocation cones) the front springs are scorpion 50mm but with a 20mm spacer as well. So 70mm lift on suspension and no body lift. Wheel arches are +50mm extended and have just cut the body work for them to fit. Even under full articulation the tyres do not rub. They have never rubbed and never will. Also, my wheels are 8.5" wide and have 4.5" backspacing, this is a good size as they do not rub. Oh, and I would have a 50mm but going to run 35" simex in the next month or so. HTH
  13. Don't worry about the diff clearance, drive accordingly Also, you will be absolutely fine just running extended arch IMHO with the lift that you have. Here's mine that I listed above^^^
  14. What 2" lift are you running? Is it a long travel challenge kit or just +2" dampers etc.? This can determine how much your tyres will rub on arches etc. This will then tell you wether you can sell on the body lift to minimalise body roll
  15. Correct me if I am wrong but they are only around 32.5" or simular. I have seen a 235/85 next to one and there wasn't a lot of different IMHO. MY tyres were suppossed to be 34" but are only 33 1/4" tall inflated!
  16. What Nick said^^^^^ Although, de carbon dampers are very well priced and offer good damping. However, they need to be run with a decent set of springs. I have run them with bearmach and it was completely rubbish!
  17. I think you would be fine with then 2" lift that you have, ditch the body lift and fit +50mm extended arches. The tyres you have on order are slightly undersized anyway, I have tyres that are just over 33", extended arches and a 70mm lift and they do not rub at all. Although the 70mm lift is only there ready for 35" simex in a couple of weeks. Otherwise, 50mm (2") would be fine. HTH
  18. Just get some super swamper tsl's, then you an drive anywhere on slide slopes
  19. That doesn't look that high, not a 6" lift is it? Has the front bumper been modified to compensate for the body lift?
  20. At 6" higher than standard you will always find that it will be top heavy. Twin shocks will stiffen it slightly but your centre of gravity is still very, very high! As you are running 35" tyres, you could get away with a much smaller lift, 4" max! This will help but it will always have too much body roll
  21. I run a double s stainless "replacment silencer" from one of their systems. It is the standard in one side out the other, however it sounds just right, not too loud, not too quiet. Inside not that much different to standard unless kick-down then you can hear that you have a nice little sweet sound. Oh btw, I also run janspeed tubular manifolds which make the overall sound just a little more crisp and clear. I would recommend this HTH
  22. A good price for a 255 85 would be around £104 ish, each
  23. With a 2" body lift you can run 35" tyres with the correct off set wheels, and as long as you have extended arches. Look here
  24. Their number plates, ISAK 3 and ISAK 4, is their a 1 and 2, because they look the business don't they
