  1. Ok thanks will check it the yellow is popping up but maybe not enough? Or if the gears stuck? if the linkage is wrong? will try to look in under the dustcover on the T box front
  2. Ok thanks Snagger😀 The noise that I suspected to be the front axle diff or half shaft. Maybe from the T box ? when I starded the troubleshooting I discovered that the front prop was fixed when high gear was selected, red lever forward. Exactly as you say then there is something wrong in the T box ( front prop disconnected from front diff) So my question, since error seems to have disapperad for the moment, could it be poor lubrication/rust under dest cover on the front of the T box? Could it be so simple that the banging noise were gears that were in the wrong position? thanks.
  3. Hi all. has discovered that there is play in the front prop shaft when in gear, can be turned 3cm by hand is that okay what is normal play
  4. Hi all. I had some banging noise from the transmission on my lwt first suspected front diff. but on later examination I could see that the front prop could not be rotated even though 2wd was selected Is it likely that the noise can be connected to the transfer box Is it common that gears get stuck in the wrong position?
  5. Hi every one. I just bought a new 32/34 to fit my land rover, but there was't any fiting instroctions in the box. so my stupid cuestion is, how do i connect it? Can't find any fiting diagrams on the net. Is it that simple? Only me stupid. Thanks
  6. Hi all. Im thinking of doing this conversion to my LWT. (Rrc axle on series leaf) Have any one done this with the brackets from YRM metal solution Ltd? My plan is to use the LH swivelhouse from a RHD and the RH swivelhouse from a LHD. ( Get a forward facing drag lobe on both sides.) And I hope I do not need the to have the tie rod behind front wheels. I looked at the jeep solution where the tie rod and the drag link are in front of the front wheels.. like my series land rover. Have any one done this ? Is it worth trying?
  7. Ok That looks great Many thanks. Now I know What to do. Rrc disco dash. :-)
  8. Hi Do any one know if it is possible to fit a disco 1 dash on à rrc? I am thinking of body swap on My disco 300tdi and like to put à rrc body on it. But do the dash fit the rrc body ? Have any one tested this before? Thanks.
  9. Thanks all maybe to much work in getting a range axle to fit on leafs. But as Tom says, Is it possible to fit the S1 swivel on the series axle direct? does in bolt on? I think the CVs are bigger and need bigger housing. Is it possible to fit CVs in Ujs housing? I know that the swivel to S1 is like the phantom. (every one knows about it but, no one have seen one) But if I would find a couple, would it realy fit the series axle?
  10. Hi Is there any one out there that can light up my life with some knowledge, I like to get permanent 4wd on my series 3. Many have tryed to fit RRC axle to there series and discoverd that the steering need som extra work. I read some where on the intrernet that the CV´s on the stage 1 front axle is almost the same as the RRC. (A total Stage 1 front axle is no option, To hard to get ) So my question is simply. Is it possible to fit parts from Stage 1 axle to a Range rover axle? exp the crome balls and Swivelhousing etc. If so, Then it whould be possible to fit RRC disks on the Stage 1 Swivelhous and still use leafs on a RRC axle. Or if not, What is the problem ? Thanks
