  1. Hello, A few days back the central locking on my Discovery failed, locking only the drivers side door. As usual this done with the ignition key, as the vehicle was supplied without any remote fobs. I suspect, having RTFM'd, that in checking the locking to work I may have put the immobiliser into reset state. Having called the RAC out, and the patrol guy supplying me with a battery->solenoid jump I can get the vehicle running but am wondering what to do next. I have tried the reset sequence but 1. am not entirely convinced I've the right access code 2. the door locks are worn and sloppy so am not sure its goign to be effective 3. the immobiliser indicator is not lit (the opposite of what is suggested in the manuel) Any suggestions? I can see a replacement is available - is this the simplest suitable solution? http://www.remotekey.co.uk/cars/land-rover/replacement-alarm-ecu/ Thanks for any help - this is the first time I've ever had any problems and my normal workspace is of Sprite complexity so I'm somewhat at a loss. Jerry, Cornwall.
