  1. Had a great weekend, big thanks to the Shire crew for letting me camp with them B) (will see some of you again at 7S) Nice to see a load of people i knew, and a load of new people. Some cracking stories on Saturday night And all i can say about Moglite is wow, you've done a fantastic job there Andy Spent a load of money but was definately worth going.
  2. I bought a cheap (8 or 9 quid) flaring tool from the local sunday market, I then used it to do every single brake and clutch pipe flare on my landy when i built it, every one was perfect, and not a single leak
  3. The fact that the CV had been making some nasty noises for quite a few months prior to it's failure didn't help though
  4. Never mind, weigh it in, with the price of scrap these days you could make a nice profit Was a great bit of fab though
  5. I use a simple pin hitch front and rear, a strop fits in neatly (which is what i use most of the time) along with a master ring if i need to attach a winch hook

  8. Classic B) I had a HFH moment in work today, i couldn't decide whether to use 50mm or 70mm plate for a new part i was designing Sorry Nige :ninja:
  9. I'd be up for that if i've recovered from the Malvern weekend but if you wait until the end of that week the Gap will be open to drive aswell
  10. Now there's an idea, i might get all my supsension stuff and axle tubes (when i rebuild the axles) repainted in work

  14. I had a cracking weekend marshalling, nice to see some very nice vehicles and driving skill A video can be seen here and some of the pics i took
  15. Ah yes, the inspector had to dig his out from under a load of junk in the cupboard to do the brake test on mine He said it hadn't seen the light of day for a long time, It's the same with the MOT
  16. I modified my chassis (replace Range rover outriggers and rear cross member with Defender items), informed the DVLA and VOSA, It took them a number of weeks to get me in for SVA, Once the vehicle had passed SVA (first time B) ) it took about 3 weeks or so until i was issued with a Q-plate and new log book.

  18. Anyone got a grid ref for Brown Trousers ? I think i know which one it is Definately doing the Gap when it reopens in a few weeks
