Had a great weekend, big thanks to the Shire crew for letting me camp with them B) (will see some of you again at 7S) Nice to see a load of people i knew, and a load of new people. Some cracking stories on Saturday night And all i can say about Moglite is wow, you've done a fantastic job there Andy
Spent a load of money but was definately worth going.
I bought a cheap (8 or 9 quid) flaring tool from the local sunday market, I then used it to do every single brake and clutch pipe flare on my landy when i built it, every one was perfect, and not a single leak
I use a simple pin hitch front and rear, a strop fits in neatly (which is what i use most of the time) along with a master ring if i need to attach a winch hook
Ah yes, the inspector had to dig his out from under a load of junk in the cupboard to do the brake test on mine He said it hadn't seen the light of day for a long time, It's the same with the MOT
I modified my chassis (replace Range rover outriggers and rear cross member with Defender items), informed the DVLA and VOSA, It took them a number of weeks to get me in for SVA, Once the vehicle had passed SVA (first time B) ) it took about 3 weeks or so until i was issued with a Q-plate and new log book.
