  4. A group of 4 or 5 of them from the South Wales devision of the Owners Club came to one of the local play days last year, very comical to watch They did reasonably well considering what they are although one nearlly rolled over due to their inherant instability
  5. Nice to see you've come to your sences and fitted a diseasal Will it be ready for 7S ?
  6. I think it does as it's the letter of the month
  7. The point i was trying to make about it being standard, is that all the parts are standard specification, no fancy axle / suspension parts, standard tdi lump, no fancy bits such as winch/cage etc etc. Also standard as comparied to for example Mark Evan's all singing, all dancing, every accesories possible 100" hybrid It was a few months ago anyway slowly modifying things such as suspension, and i've added a winch.
  8. ooooooo I'll have to pick up a copy tommorow when i'm in the parts shop
  9. I spent the weekend at Eastnor, it was very, very hot but still a good show A few of my pictures are here http://www.orrp.com/smf/index.php?topic=24...04945#msg404945
  10. Thanks Elvis, I'll give them a try next time i'm going that way
  11. Thats the one, i'm sure i'll be using that in the future Some pics to show the lack of compression There's about 2" between the tub and the tyre (not chopped the tub out yet) and about 3" to go up in the damper A-frame ball joint will be going, as soon as i can think of something to replace it with
  12. I'm sure i've seen a program somewhere on the net where you can select different rates for weights
  13. I used a Jigsaw and 4.5" angle grinder to chop up my tub
  14. I agree with you there, they do give a nice ride, minimal body roll, and feel good in the corners But i'm not happy with the flex so they've got to go Hoping to get more flex with a softer spring, and then try and restore road manners with some anti roll bars (disconnectable obviously )
  15. Good idea, only problem, where do i find a weigh bridge around here
  16. They've been on my hybrid for about 7 months now, and were on the donor rangy for about a year before i had it The ride hight is perfect for the back, just need more give Fronts need to go up by no more than an inch, but need to give a lot more than now
  17. Yep, your right, they are way too hard, got about another 2" of upward flex on the rear which the springs wong let me get to, front is almost rigid
  18. Anyone know where i can find out the lb/in rates of my orange springs ? I've given them a call, but they are as much use as a chocolate fireguard They are TDi Range Rover +1" I need to replace them with something softer to give me more flex. Anyone ?
  19. Thats really smart, good work B) and that looks nothing like primer grey
  20. Usually the Intercity 125 Don't worry about the measurment cock-up, we've all done it, and spent a day redoing it all
  21. There is a row of 4 bolts going verticaly up the front of bulkhead and one nut at the top of the wing. If you loosen these you may be able to get it to go up enough
  22. I spent an hour this morning changing the difflock warning light switch Apart from that, spent all weekend revising for my last two exams this week
