Not sure how much i'm going to need yet as i'm still designing the snorkel / airbox / pipe routes, probably need about 2 or so meters to get from the turbo around to the airbox, and then from the airbox to the sorkel. I'm in sunny sunny South Wales
Any ideas how to get the transfer box off the back of a defender gearbox
I've removed everything attached to it
I've removed the 4 bolts from the rear, and the two bolts from the front
But it will not move at all, not even a mm
I've been trying for over an hour now and it will not budge
Is there a trick to getting it off ?
Get some punches and restamp it
Paint over it (do the whole chassis leg to make it look less sus) and cover with enough mud to make it look old, yet can still read the number
Dan, there's a drum braked one here you can have for nowt,
I could take the diff out if it's as easy as people say and bring it to Eastnor, 7S or Billing if you want
Very impressive, i hope mine turns out half as good as that (and half the size too )
Just a thought, what bore is your exhaust if you've got that much air going in ?
Similar to what $crapiron and J33p club do now at 7 sisters but more evolved do you mean Mark ?
Sounds like it would be a popular event, going by turnouts to prevoius events there which included winching / punches / navigation / some speed trails / special tasks etc
Night nav around 7S with no GPS would be fun
