  2. i wonder if you could get one to fit a LR Tom
  3. You don’t want a v12 what you want is a, Touareg V10 TDI 313 bhp Twin turbo 5.0-litre 553 Ft/lb *drools* Tom (wishing the impossible lol)
  4. I personally think the best option is to uses converted veggie oil, saves all the time and hassle of fitting a twin tank system, You could buy it or make it your self its not hard to make and its cheap as chips as you get the used oil for free or cheap and you can then sell the surpluses to local diesel owners to pay for materials, I made my first test batch this weekend and surprisingly enough it worked. Tom
  5. ffs and ive just had a roll cage put in.
  6. Must say the Speedglass mask is the dogs b***cks, well worth the money, Much better than the hand held shield especially when you need to get in to an awkward place. Tom
  7. Its a bit more complicated than just heating vegatable oil and washing it, To get good quality fuel from use veg oil you add a few chemical most aren’t that hard to find but concentrated sulphuric acid you aren’t going to find in you local supper market but there are internet suppliers that sell it. Any way have a read http://journeytoforever.org/biodiesel.html i have been seriously thinking about producing my own bio-diesel, just in the process of getting all the bits. Tom
  8. Dell are ok for laptops but all the companies are about the same try Acer there good. There are loads of companies that make laptops like Fujitsu, HP, NEC, Samsung, Sony, Toshiba to name a few lol But Acer do some good deals I would try them. For Desktops I would go with another company like Evesham Technology, as they will be much cheaper than a Dell desk top with similar spec unless you catch one of Dells deals, !!But Watch out for those extras that’s where DELL will scr*w you!! lol Tom
  9. les, sorry to hear that you have stepped down, but I hope that you stay with us as you will be sorely missed, and hope that you take up the position if chairman, I would like to say thanks for you leader ship and you interesting threads and replies cant forget the shenanigans hope there are many more to come, Three chears for les Hip-Hip Tom
  10. So if I had two 100 watt lights on a separate switch, I would be able to drive on the road with out a cover on them ( I know you cant use them on road) Tom
  11. If you have spot lights on you defender do you have to have them on individual switch for them to be legal on the road? I read some where that you have to put a cover on the spotlights when you are driving on the road is this true? Tom
