Hi guys the disco bottom hose came today and after work i moded it and fitted it filled the cooling system up with antifreeze and water and went for a spinn round the block a couple of times it was brill it is now in the garage over night so tomorrow after work i can check for leaks and check the coolent level and make sure everything is ok under the bonnet well chuffed. graham.

Hi all i have taken loads and loads of pics and there will be more when i get the disco radiator bottom hose from paddocks which will be sometime this week so when it comes i can fit it and post the pics. graham.

Hi everyone. my intercooler pipes i orderd last weekend came yesterday and managed to rute and fit the bottom intercooler pipe tonight using a piece of transit exhaust to make an elbow to join in between two rubber elbows ( i orderd extra elbows ) then i had a phone call from my girlfriend to say some more stuff had come so i went to collect it which was the series diesel air hose i am hopeing to fit between the air filter and the turbo so will fit the air hose and top intercooler hose this weekend. graham.

Hi all just got my intercooler hoses that i orderd over the weekend and been thinking about water ( wadding ) are hose clips alone good enough to seal the hoses or do i need to use a sealent if so what do others use ? graham.

Hi all does anyone now what the output is of a disco tdi alternator idling ( engine fitted in a s11a ) mine is charging at about 14.30v is this to high or is it ok the alternator is 65 amps. graham.

Hi every body fitted the defender tdi air filter over the left footwell under the wing as others have done what i would like to know is which air hose do i need to fit from the defender air filter to a disco tdi engine and also where do i get the air hose rubber elbows that connect the air hose to the air filter and turbo from or do i need to get a length of hose ? graham.

Hi all the wiring for the tdi engine is exactly the same as the petrol engine i haven't done anything with the glow plug wiring as i have been told that you don't need it even in a cold winter but i will monitor that i still need to fit an electic fan people have said they don't use theres but it would be stupid not to fit one. graham.

Hi all painted and fitted the tdi header tank and air filter today i also sealed the end cap of the air filter ready for piping it all up graham.

Hi all fitted the tdi header tank today mounted it on an alloy plate which is mounted to the drivers side wing i also painted the header tank before fitting and painted the tdi air filter too. graham.

Hi all does anybody have any pics of s11/111s engine bays fitted with a disco 200 tdi engine fitted as i need to fit a disco 200 tdi header tank and need a good place to fit it graham.

Hi all now winter is just around the corner i was woundering will the 200 tdi engine make the heater any better as the heater with the petrol engine in was carp. graham.

since taking the pics i have mounted the tdi air filter under the left wing over the footwell so all i have to do now is to pipe everything in and fit a proper throttle linkage for the injection pump then its done. graham.
