  1. It's all right, I've got all the nuts, bolts, screws, brackets and stuff back from the platers. Not much more to do surely?
  2. Series 3 Stage One Ute, got a ways to go though 😕
  3. Dishwasher seems to work fine. Just have to be quick on the rinse.
  4. I fitted one of the Ashcrofts HR kits to my SIII 88" and don't really like it. If I were to do it again I would probably fit a roamerdrive overdrive instead. Just my 2c.... Cheers, Tim
  5. M20 as fridge said, pitch is 1.5 You really need the unshouldered type, (the allen key type), as the casting doesn't have a flat shoulder to seal against. Cheers,
  6. I'll just be happy if there is an option to have 3 pedals and a wobbly stick. It's very difficult to get any 4WD here that is not an auto now. Cheers,
  7. Pretty good comparison of different methods in this video also: Cheers,
  8. Thanks Snagger, the car is CKD ex New Zealand, so the sidelights/indicator arrangement could be due to which ones they picked up first, or even the wind direction on the day.... They were always that way around so I put them back that way. Cheers,
  9. I'd love to drive it more Bowie! I have however managed 1,500km's in the last couple of months though. The first day I was driving it around it was 42degC, the mesh hood and sides was a god send! Cheers,
  10. Well, hopefully I can stop spending bloody money on it now! All done, and back on the road.... Cheers,
  11. Apologies for the off site link, (mods please delete if not allowed)... xychix, there is a photo or two here: https://www.aulro.com/afvb/series-iii/240801-my-88-series-3-a.html Cheers, Tim
  12. If it makes you feel any better, FF, the steering wheel is a bit of a disaster (Apologies for the hijack) Cheers,
  13. I hate to think how many times I've been at "only a few thousand more and it'll be done" stage And it still looks like this :/ Cheers,
  14. Thanks FF, I'm doing a pretty serious restoration, pretty sure I am going to give the BP doors a miss, just looking into the SP Landrovers reproduction ones a the moment. Not too much of a worry about corrosion here in Western Australia, unless you like to live on, and in, the beach. Cheers, Tim
  15. Hi everyone, I need a pair of front doors for my 74 series 3 that I'm refurbing, most suppliers, (that will ship internationally), seem to only stock Britpart doors. So, are they any good? Or do you have another recommendation? Thanks in advance, Tim
