  2. Cheers folks. The Land Rover Community rocks, doesn't it? Regards Gresh
  3. Hello folks, Thanks for your concern. We are doing ok I guess. The kids have an amount of normality at school. Home is hell to be honest, it's great to be around the memories, but equally that's what hurts, if you know what I mean. April has been a bad month, Angel's birthday would have been the 10th and Thor's the 21st. It's hard to describe exactly how we feel, most of the time we aren't too sure ourselves. What we do know is that there are a lot of great people out there in LandyLand, who have been a great source of comfort. For that we will always be grateful. We spend quite a bit of time away, visiting friends, and show season has started, so we are likely to be at as many of those as possible. If you see me (maybe wearing a tee or sweat shirt with RIP Keavy, Thor, Angel & Willow on it), stop me and say hello. Anyhow, thanks for asking after us. Catch ya soon. Regards Gresh If you know any companies who can donate to the auction, please send them the link Luke posted.
  4. Hi folks. Thanks for all the words of support. You all, I hope, will never know how much strength your support gives us. We as a family are obviously devastated, we have lost four of the most beautiful children in the world, they were my raison d'être. My four remaining children are now the focus of my life, and getting them and Sara through this very difficult time is what I now have to do. We sincerely appreciate your thoughts and prayers. Regards Gresh & Sara
  5. The problem is.... (and he is at my house now!!!) Mr Shaved Gorilla was under the impression that the ambient temperature gets upto and beyond 100C, I have set him straight. I think he was getting his Fahrenheit and his Celsius confused. *walks away muttering about untrained chimps* Regards Gresh
  6. Chris, Pressure plate actuating fork? has the pivot punched through the pivot point, or even just made it deeper than it should be? I've had it happen. As for Britpart parts..... hahahahahahaha! That's what you do for a joke isn't it? laugh? If Carlsberg did Land Rover part, Britpart parts wouldn't be them! (allegedly)
  7. Stick me down for three. I only need two for the 110, so I thought I'd save the third and see if I could stick the third on the Scrap-iron stand and get a photo Can you get them done before the old sod
  8. Hillbilly..... Did you read the post I put at the end of the thread (on LRO)? The thread isn't pulled, merely locked. Sadly, it is a fact, that over on LRO we have more than our fair share of idiots. As usual, a little bit of controversy brings them out the woodwork. If you want the idiots, feel free to invite them over. Personally, I think it is disgraceful what ScrapIron have done (I can say that here!), and to that end I was prepared to let the thread stand. Regards Gresh
  9. To be honest, that's business. You wouldn't be able to patent it, a slight deviation would be a whole new product. All that said, I wouldn't buy from ScrapIron, having tried in the past, and not being contacted again by them. Then there is the parts I've seen used and failed. I would much sooner use a smaller company who are in touch with the people it supplies to. Whilst your reputation grows, ScrapIrons continues to diminish, the only thing they have going for them is the sad-bling-crowd. Best of luck, and don't forget my discount when i can afford one Regards Gresh
  10. It's a lie, we are just good friends!
  11. Sean at North Off Road bent some hoops for me, I have never seen better bends, the worksmanship was A1, very nice helpful chap too, despite being extremely busy. Really couldn't recommend him enough. Regards Gresh
  12. You could try Customvinyl they will make the tyre treads for you at whatever size you need them, delivery is quick and the stickers are good quality. Email them from the website. Regards Gresh
  13. Hmmm, thinking about repainting the Landie now..... mine was a d/s/r failure.
  14. Aerial through my hand, that hurt, the nurse said I should have goine in earlier, but I thought it might have healed in the first three weeks. Bonnet to back of head, jesus that hurt, brought a tear to my eye, managed to fall at the same time and introduced my knee to my winch bumper. Trapped finger between spring and spring mount on a disco, no one believed me, so after ten minutes decided to release it myself. Numerous weld burns, the worst one being when it rolled down my back and rested between my cheeks, welding then together, that really hurt.. Obvious head meets diff when working underneath. Ankle trapped under lowered axle - winced. Dropped diff on my chest, it was heavier than I expected in the given space. Hammer and thumb have met too many times. Letting a mate trap my finger between and engine and a gearbox when i explicitly asked him not to. And much much more.
