  1. As above, just incase the covers are hiding corrosion etc. If the vehicle is involved in an accident or taken to appeal of the mot test, the covers may have been removed afterwards but the advisory shows that any missed defects could not be seen at the time of test.
  2. I weighed an 8274 a while ago, think it was 25kg without solenoids or rope, so just the bare winch, dan.
  3. Hi g, my dad is thinking of selling his dodge that you were looking at, he's had fords and dodges and thinks the dodge is a better built truck, and the cummins engines are known to be far superior to almost any engine of that size, hope this helps, Dan.
  4. Hi, i fitted a set of aluminium 30mm wheel spacers about a week ago , and went to a play day today in my 90 on Simex's, and i lost a wheel!!! The nuts were all tight, but after overtaking my wheel(scary sight) i saw that the nuts holding the spacers on had no thread left, which was worrying. I fitted my wheel back on minus the spacer, then had a very steady ride home before removing all of the spacers. I'm tempted to get some genuine L R wheel nuts and try again. Dan.
  5. Ive got a very similar issue with my auto box, i went to a play day yesterday and went through some water, on the way home it started to leak fluid, then i stopped for a few minutes and it developed a leak from the bell housing, then wouldn't change out of first, then to top it off i lost reverse !! . Left it overnight, thoroughly jetwashed every inch of the vehicle, took it out for another drive, it would't change out of first gear for roughly a mile, then all was fine, but leak still persists. Sorry bimotaman but i can't help you as i haven't found a cure to mine yet, will post if i do manage to get it to work through the gears from cold. Dan.
  6. Heres my Rangie pickup which wasn't done by me so i can't help with details. The rear corner windows are land rover 90 i think, and the back window is series maybe ? Hope this helps.

  9. We've got a range rover bobtail pickup, with a 3 inch suspension and 3 inch body lift which is actually 4 inch, 35 inch kuhmo tyres and on the back, on full axle articulation the back of the wheel arch just rubs so it needs cutting out, i was very surprised how well the 35-12.50 tyres fitted in the arches.
