  2. Doh, I normally post up where I am I'm in Glasgow, have just located one so I'm off to pick it up. Cheers Brian
  3. As above, I'm asking cos I broke a window in my 5 door Rangey and can only find Disco's breaking near me. IS the glass the same? Cheers Brian
  4. Bugger, thought that might be the way. Next sunny day it is then! Shame I've got a Saab to re-engine and a 106 to MOT
  5. Whereabouts do I get squirting then? I could only make out the motor when I was going in from under the dash, how do I access the linkage/gearbox for the wipers?
  6. Hello All I'm having trouble with the wipers on my 1991 RRC. The wipers didn't park at first, then they started working really slowly when I first started her up but now they have stopped working completely. I've had some of the dash off and the motor is hot to the touch so I assume something has jammed. I've removed the fuse in the meantime to save burning it out. It looks a right pain in the backside to remove the motor and/or linkage, has anyone got any tips on how to do this? Luckily my RRC isn't my daily driver so it's not urgent but Im in Scotland so wipers are a neccesity! Cheers Brian
  7. Cheers for all the help guys. I'm removing it for more ground clearance for off-roading. I'm not too bad technically, just need to wait for a dry day to get in about it. I'll not be messing about tho, any bolts that give me any hassle will be getting a visit from Mr. Angle Grinder!
  8. Hello all I want to remove the standard towbar on my Rangey classic, a pic of it is here. How easy is it do to this? Do bumpers and things have to be removed? I have an angle grinder and big hammer standing by ... Cheers Brian
  9. Hello. Are you anywhere near Paisley? If so there's a hardware shop round the back of Halfords I've used many a time, I can't forget the name but it's maybe on Abercorn St? I've got a couple of jate rings to it to my Rangie so I'll be needing bolts too, that would be my first call. Brian To add to my previous post, it's Robert Livingstone Engineering on Abercorn St. Helpful and cheap as chips. Mod feel free to merge my two posts, ta!
