  1. How about hiring a truck with a crane for the day........
  2. We usu. put the Tara weight of a 20" ctr. on 2.200 kgs. Width varies between 240 and 250 cm., What makes them awkward to transport on a flatbed trailer without "twistlocks" is securing them - you def. don't want them to move. Also, they don't like to be transported on their floors - they sit on their corners.. They tent to be a bit tail heavy - the doors are more metal.. Also, the police will want you to have mirrors that look rearwards alongside the container as required by law. We have used reverse camera's in the past but some LEA will not like that. Have you got something to unload the thing ?
  3. Seen / had some before. Fit both the 88" aswell as the 110 5 door. Unusual as most have at least the rear quarter windows.
  4. Having had chassis pulled over the years, it is quite impressive what can be done.. I think quite a few of us have been in the woods with a winch and straps and some interesting pulling to straighten things out. More recent, a serious hydraulic ram was used to pull out a chassis a bit... 😳
  5. The Maer bulkheads, both LHD and RHD, are still not ready for sale it seems..... Their chassis are a good fit though.
  6. Another TI Console user here... Under the 88" for about 27 years now, with matching Koni shocks, and quite happy with them.
  7. Pictures help a lot Friends with hydraulic rams help, too
  8. TTBOMK there is no seal between the box and TB.
  9. Quick question : Will this one work on a Discovery II Td5 ?
  10. For the Series One lovers : € 4.500,- on FR Plates 1957 origin North East of Reims
  11. Love this sort of posts ! Thanks Stephan.
  12. Stephan, That steel cable & hook very much looks like the ones used for a Trifor...
  13. I'm happy to sent a spare "plastic" Disco I tank to you to play with if that helps.
  14. Sorry, contact should be "contact@4x4chassisetpieces.fr"
  15. Mid. '90s Have more pics if you'd like. People have also fitted Discovery tanks (also "plastic") Have one of those sitting here you can have.
  16. That seems like a very interesting price, delivered into Malta ! Hope all Customs formalities etc are included as they do seem to add up for stuff from the UK coming into the EU. Please keep us updated.
  17. Why not get a new galvanized bulkhead from France ? There is an importer for both galvanized chassis (MAER in stock) and bulkheads (DDS and Richards). I think they have one in stock and transport / duties would be less perhaps.. Give Richard a shout on "message@4x4chassisetpieces.fr" You never know - perhaps that would work for you.
  18. My OneTen was eventually fitted with a "plastic" tank for the Td5. Fits OK, you need to make a small mod. but no real issues. We also fitted a Series filler with the "extension" for easier filling with jerrycans.
  19. You, Sir, have many hidden talents. Very, very nice !
  20. These days there are sensors for everything, so I wouldn't be surprised if there is a sensor that kills off movement when it thinks there is too much oil...
  21. Made a few looms myself and it is not that difficult if you're not into originality. Earth is the big issue with the standard loom so that must be solved. A label printer is a huge help, as is a database / spreadsheet with what is what.
  22. We're working on 4,50 mtrs. between floor and underside ceiling / trusses etc. for our workshop.
