  1. Thank you !!! Very, very Nice one. We all love to see more of this...
  2. Oh yes.... That is also a possibility... Hope not though - makes it even more complicated...
  3. Thanks.. Now it is time to find out what other parts are needed to dress this axle casing up into a functioning rear axle.
  4. Thank You all for the quick reply. So, rear D1 axle should be a long nose ?
  5. Goedemiddag, For a project I was asked if a differential was a "short nose" or a "long nose" ? Not heard diffs described that way before. - what are they ? - what is the difference ? - how to tell them apart ? Thank you.
  6. Thanks Gary ! Reading all the replies I guess there is a fair chance the bolt patterns are the same. Now, all I have to do is be patient and wait another 2 weeks and try.
  7. Well, this is the donor of the 1st Mazda : This 110 with a Mazda 3500 Slti was driving around with an LT95 before they started on getting it out - my guess is that the flywheel / bell housing bolt pattern is V8 Of the LT85 I am also collecting is unknown the flywheel / bell housing bolt pattern is unknown as I do not know what engine that was originally mated to. However, I eventually will get another Mazda from that source and the seller claims that it should fit that LT85. So I will have to be patient....
  8. Suitable for a chassis...... I have one of those, too, and you've given me an idea.... The Mrs. will be away a few weeks this Spring
  9. Many thanks you all ! Hopefully I return from Holland later this month with a Mazda, an LT85 and an LT95...
  10. I have WOR in both LHD and RHD vehicles and found them to fit very nice. I am changing - in the future - an R380 for an LT85 so it will be interesting to see what problems I run into..
  11. Have you asked WOR (Wright OffRoad) ? Those are more money but seriously good...
  12. The Mazda I hope to collect in 2 weeks time is a Mazda with a LT95 attached to it. However, I'd rather have a LT85 and I found one. Thus my question about the bolt pattern..
  13. Hope so..... I really, really would like to mate a LT85 to that Mazda - the LT 95 was not on my list.. But, as you know, flywheel housings for them are more than rare... It is going to be a complicated NL trip..
  14. What model Pioneer is that please ?
  15. I am awaiting a Mazda 3500 SLTi with a LT85 gearbox to go into a 110 chassis. However, i've been offered another Mazda (you can't have too many...) with a LT95. And somebody else offered me a loose LT85.... Question 1 : do the LT85 and the LT95 have the same bolt pattern for the flywheelhousing ? (the Mazda has a different flywheelhousing for the various gearboxes) Question 2 : are these 2 boxes (LT85 with an LT230) the same length ? (or do I need to change the gearbox ones ?) Many, many thanks.
  16. No - as you said : you'll need an adapting spacer https://www.johncraddockltd.co.uk/da5006s-wheel-adaptor-individual-to-fit-disco-2-wheels-to-90110-disco-1-and-rrc.html These could do the job. I run steel D1 rims on my Series & 110
  17. Thanks ! I really want to try and keep this DII as standard as possible (apart from the bumpers) as it is a works vehicle.
  18. Trailer is almost matching... Safe travels !
  19. Thank You ! What is a good supplier of the cartridge ? Replacing the whole turbo or "just" the cartridge is a lot of difference money wise...
  20. Goedeavond, As the Discovery project is moving forward it has come to the point where some €€€ must be spent.. Turbo has axle play and oil in it and need replacing of the cartridge or a complete new turbo. Who has experience with either please ? Thank you.
