I'd suggest to sell it. Cash is always nice to have and you have more projects. I'm about to start the Ninety and that one, once finished, will be sold. I have enough LR's and if you don't use them you loose them.

Nice ! Just for suggestions, we had a set up like this in the 109 " / 88" / 110 : Slide out stove.. Works quite well... Was originally fitted to our 109" Hard Top and moved to the various other LR's over the decades.. 2 Gas bottles are sliding in and out making for a simple sturdy mount. Camping Gaz can be found almost everywhere and many meals were served from the back door.

It sounds as if you have the vehicle still in the "immobilized " mode. Knowing the D3 you'll need to take it to the dealer / specialist with the correct computers to make the thing talk to your new remote and the key to disarm it and accept the transponder in the key - 2 very different things. But you'll need to have some good paperwork to show and proof to them on how you legally became the owner of the vehicle before they'll touch it. Bon Courage !

I may change the 300 Tdi with the R380 (Td5) for a Mazda that comes with the LT85 Are the gear levers in a totally different place or will I be able to re-use / modify the R380 (Td5) tunnel ? Thank you.

Glad you like what you ordered. I never found the V8 in need of much more power... Would have loved it to be a bit better on fuel though..😄

Very, very nice project. Getting it galvanized was a good choice - did mine 30 years ago and still after much abuse totally rust free

Bushes in the freezer for a few days helps If you think this is bad, wait until you've tried pushing them out / in after the chassis has been galvanized.....

Could be a "period" replacement by the looks of it. These days, with the additives in the fuel etc., it is with older vehicles a bit of a struggle to keep the fuel lines etc. 100 % working. Clean it and, if you want, overhaul it.

IF we ask friendly, perhaps a friend can unload the pallets, store them for a short while and load them on my Ducato. But the timing is rather tight..

I must make the run but the planning is extremely tight as work is crazy but I need to collect 1/2 ton of steel from there. I go empty => Kraów so I can bring it 1600 kms eastwards but that is about it. The challenge will be to get it here....

Well.... I'm going into Poland later this month (31-983 Kraków). I have about 10 M3 of space in the truck. You get it to me in the Allier (03) before the 21st. I can then try to deliver it to him within 150 kms. from there Does that help ?
