  1. I started the original thread and want one for exactly the same application. Let me know if you find out if it is the correct width. The different sizes on their website relate to depth/height (hoch)

I am sure I could make one myself but not as good. Like mud rails it slopes, and I could not achieve this as neatly without a lot of work.

  2. Have a look on foleys site Im sure i have seen one on their gallery just like this.

In fact the one you have seen is the basis of Raw's photoshop above! You can even see the Foley wing sticker. That is a 130 with a 110HCP back and a king cab.

I think that a 100" will only just work with the 130" back. No space for a king cab.

  3. These are manufactured by http://www.breedgroup.com/ which is where I got mine from directly (and reasonably priced too). And they answer both emails and the telephone. Given that I wanted mine in the UK I don't have the the version with the receiver but I'm sure they'll will tell you if it exists. (They also told me that they make the roll cages for the 60th anniversary rag top 90.)

Thanks for that I will try them. If not I know P&P make a rear step.

  4. I personally hate bring old threads back from the dead but I'm not going to get flamed for not using the search function!

I want an American NAS spec rear step with the receiver hitch rather than the UK V8 spec one with 90mm centred holes.

The reason being I want to be able to swap it for a Nato hitch but also be able to use the 50mm ball on a drop plate at the front of the car for trailer maneuvering.

Some of the accessories for receiver hitches look cool too.

Anyone know if it is available as a part in the UK and also if anyone knows were I can get a steering guard with a reciever hitch that would be ace (like the scrapiron one)

  5. I am typing from my PC/Mac hybrid now- a shuttle PC running OSX... I would run Microcat from a virtual machine running XP, google "Virtualbox" its free- open source, and very, very good :)

    :)

But if you "would" how would the dongle work, notoriously difficult to get to function on a virtual machine.

  6. ok...as I would need it for towing, top end performance isn't where I need more power. Got a 2000 X TD5 Auto, been told that I would get a different new ECU by one "re-map" person. For around £300- £350 or thereabouts, true,un-true, doesn't matter...?

No, the right person can put a new "flashable" chip into your ECU.
