After 90,000 miles my very aging BFG All Terrains are worn (but legal) cracked by UV and one has a slow puncture. I want to replace them like for like.
Going to keep the old ones for my trailer.
Where would you recommend to buy/fit them south of Birmingham?

Any idea’s guys ?
Thanks !
Edwin.
A remap sorted this problem for me. Now I can just pull away in second or third if I am really lazy!

I started the original thread and want one for exactly the same application. Let me know if you find out if it is the correct width. The different sizes on their website relate to depth/height (hoch)
I am sure I could make one myself but not as good. Like mud rails it slopes, and I could not achieve this as neatly without a lot of work.

SPA Technique make a lovely 52mm guage which shows EGT and Boost. Also available with green backlighting and programable warning indicators and outputs. Really pricey though!
-
I don't think it's supposed to be full! Should take 2.5 litres of oil, and it should be filled to the bottom of the filler hole. Which oil have you used?

Is that a Td5alive intercooler?
Nope, it's the IRB Developments one.
The TD5 Alive one is a little smaller (it fits Aircon and Non-Aircon cars) and doesn't have the same end tanks.

He's a busy guy. Try calling him if it's really urgent

IRB intercooler
-
What about a Defender with both Disco 230Q gears and an OD?
-
Does the IRB intercooler fit aircon models?
I am sure Ian does one for aircon cars. I have only had mine on for less than 24 hours but it's an absolutely amazing transformation.

Just seen on the BBC website that George didn't get it - it went to a Ben Southall from Hampshire.
And Ben from Southalls parent's have a very nicely prep'd 110 camel overlander..

i once heard you should never let a diesel engine idle, whether under load or not.
?? That just doesn't make any sense.

Have a look on foleys site Im sure i have seen one on their gallery just like this.
In fact the one you have seen is the basis of Raw's photoshop above! You can even see the Foley wing sticker. That is a 130 with a 110HCP back and a king cab.
I think that a 100" will only just work with the 130" back. No space for a king cab.

These are manufactured by http://www.breedgroup.com/ which is where I got mine from directly (and reasonably priced too). And they answer both emails and the telephone. Given that I wanted mine in the UK I don't have the the version with the receiver but I'm sure they'll will tell you if it exists. (They also told me that they make the roll cages for the 60th anniversary rag top 90.)
Thanks for that I will try them. If not I know P&P make a rear step.

What about adding cryogenic intercooler sprayers..
Apparently good for 60% increase in cooler efficiency...

Ah cheers for clarifying that
What exactly does each stage consist of?
I think your saying that stage 3 without the VNT will produce between 190 and 198hp, so what exactly does that consist of?
Cheers!
I believe all stage 3 includes over the Stage 2 is a hybrid turbo.

Your right its not a perentie
This is a perentie
I jumped in on that because I read too much into the word Australia! Of cause why would you send a 6x6 to Australia when they made them there.
-
It's a Perentie

I personally hate bring old threads back from the dead but I'm not going to get flamed for not using the search function!
I want an American NAS spec rear step with the receiver hitch rather than the UK V8 spec one with 90mm centred holes.
The reason being I want to be able to swap it for a Nato hitch but also be able to use the 50mm ball on a drop plate at the front of the car for trailer maneuvering.
Some of the accessories for receiver hitches look cool too.
Anyone know if it is available as a part in the UK and also if anyone knows were I can get a steering guard with a reciever hitch that would be ace (like the scrapiron one)

I am having one fitted myself from IRB next week (road spec). It seems the best option on recommendations alone.
yorkshire90, how does it compare to the Allisport one in size etc?
-
Many claim to be flow bench tested but I would love to see the figures.
Something some of the mags lack is real technical comparison of products. Lets see flow rates, capacity, temperature differential and surface area info please.

I am typing from my PC/Mac hybrid now- a shuttle PC running OSX... I would run Microcat from a virtual machine running XP, google "Virtualbox" its free- open source, and very, very good
But if you "would" how would the dongle work, notoriously difficult to get to function on a virtual machine.
-
What would life be Philip? Without a sense of irony.
Howard.
2X300TdiDef. And a genuine parts book (£55). No Microcat: Would take too long to download.
Too true, and what would a bookshelf be without a big white lever arch file full of technical drawings!

ok...as I would need it for towing, top end performance isn't where I need more power. Got a 2000 X TD5 Auto, been told that I would get a different new ECU by one "re-map" person. For around £300- £350 or thereabouts, true,un-true, doesn't matter...?
No, the right person can put a new "flashable" chip into your ECU.

I like them. Wasn't a fan of that grill on the SVX but it suits being painted. Having the light surrounds painted the same colour of the wings with a silve rim around the light makes me think Series 3.
I am wondering how that kind of 2 tone would work with Green and Silver? Any photoshop god on here?
