  1. The roof is just bolted on, lots of bolts all the way round the edge. And also stuck down with a sealer all the way round to make it water tight so will need prising off
  2. I did a 2" lift on mine and as said before the front brake lines will need attention as they are attached to the inner wings and so the mounts go up with the body. Another thing to watch is, if its a manual, the clutch pipe as this is again mounted to the body work. When you do the lift undo all the steering uj bolts and once finish give the steering a good lock to lock several times and bolt it all down. I did mine with stainless steel spacers and had some longer seatbelt ties made. It is still fitted several years on and still no problems.
  3. Certainly is! now I can get on and finish the suspension lift and then get my new tyres on

  6. Ive tried changing the ignition switch,Ive checked the alarm as far as I can tell it doesnt imobilise anything, but didnt know about the fuel pump and airflow meter thing will have to check that Cheers
  7. My '88 rrc wont start! I have spark and i have fuel at the plugs, but the fuel pump was'nt working so have traced the fault right back to the fuse so far,no power to the fuse, havent traced it any further yet but i bypassed the fuse and put a live to the battery so i have fuel, I have changed everything I can possible think of to do with the engine running, relays ecu airflow meter, ignition switch, cold start sensor etc, but al to availe, still wont start and still no power to the fuse. While im turning it over sometimes it will fire and at one point even manage to get it to sound as if it was going to run but as soon as i let go of the key nothing.Im going to try and trace power fault right back to the source but in the meantime can Anyone shed any light on the problem? Please help P.S. I threatened it with the hammer,I offered it nice new shiney bits, Ive even threatened to burn it and none of that worked either
  8. I have a 2" body lift and was thinking of going higher, but was worried about the steering so can I ask where did you get the spacer from or was it home made? any pics Cheers Wolfie
