  1. buy a rooster and a few chickens and tell him because you cant use the grinder you cant finish the car so now youve abandoned the project completely and made it into a chicken coop. he'll be begging you to start grinding after a few mornings of cockadoodledo
  2. just found this thread and i love it . I was thinking of the lexus conversion in my 90 but was gonna stick with the auto but after reading this i am tempted by the r380, could you pm me some costings on getting the adapter and flywheel sorted out

  4. i hope you get your problem sorted but i can sympathise as mine done something similar this morning its a 2002 td5. Ive been driving it daily no probs then this morning gone out and it wouldnt open with the key button, so i opened it at the door with the key and it all opened up no probs, then i opened the door and the alarm goes off so i put the key in the ignition and all the lights come on butwouldnt start and the alarm is still blaring.i went and changed the battery in the key but that made no difference at all so im stumped just going to find a selection of hammers to (smash) fix it. Hopefully an adult will be along soon and cure our problem!!!!

  6. its a shame this has been cancelled but the cost of the licence and membership for jusif it was like beforet one day are off putting for most people wanting to give it a try it would be great if it was like before i would definitely be entering and possibly rope in another couplke of trucks too as its fairly local for us

  8. oh ye of little faith,@ kev i know where the tow vehicle is i left in the pub carpark after the last round so hopefully the oil service light has gone out by now and its fixed itself @ginge driving there would be no probs its just the driving back bit
  9. lads dont be like, that my cage is welded and now half fitted, one winch is fitted and the rest is just little jobs like seats tunnel wings sliders and guards oh and the difflocks

  11. what a really good weekend despite the rain, i had my first taste of codriving and indeed my last as 17 stone is not designed to be running around all day and leaping in and out of muddy puddles but after all that we had a good result with second in class with andrews new buggy performing really well with just a few mishaps see you all at the next round when my car will definitely be ready :blink:

  15. this sounds like an excellent concept and no doubt will be extremely popular so i,ll be keeping an eye on this topic for more updates when everything gets finalised, it'll be good to finally have something credable in the southeast to enter which will be guaranteed to be well organised with the people that are involved
  16. oh right sorry for upsetting the applecart, totally understand what everyone is saying its one of ''those'' rules that get over looked to apease the masses. i wont tell a soul my lips are sealed, is there any others i should know about so i dont stick my foot in it again

  20. thanks to everyone at challenger for organising such a great fun series and all the rest of the people for making it such a good laugh hope to see ya all next year and nick you were still going strong when i see you at three, unless you had a late lunch...........excuses, excuses :hysterical:
