Morning all, I've got a 200tdi Disco 1 (5dr) and picking up some 31 x 10.5 r15 Maxxis tyres today. Will i need a lift to get these on? or just trimming the rear arch a bit? Not needing huge articulation at the moment, just better traction offroad than my stock road tyres give me

Just a quick query, im planning on a 4" lift on my 5dr Disco 1 200tdi. So far I've planned for 2" lift blocks, and 2" lift springs. Is there anything else I will need such as longer brake lines etc etc? Im hoping to get a set of 33 x 12.5s under there. thanks

No probs at all, i had to re-tighten my new belts 2 weeks ago, and they had only been on a month ish

I've had the same on my 200TDI... The belts need to be tightened up. Really tight.

How do you mean a lot of metal cut out of the body? Regards Chris

anyone running 33 x 12/5 x 15 ? If so can I ask how much of a lift you have , and using what items? also any pictures of arch clearances etc?

Afternoon all Just wondering if anyone could throw me some advice. My 200tdi rev counter isnt working.. I believe its powered from a feed from the alterator? if this is the case which connector on the back of it is the feed? or am I miles off the money with this? thanks,, Chris

That they no longer want?need? Im after a broken one so I can do some R&D to make an oil pressure take off for an additional gauge if you can help i'd be very interested. thanks

Ahhh The boost one wont be an issue... I think i'll fire up auto cad and get one machined to fit Just a long show now, but any idea what thread type the oil filter sits on with?

Just wondered if anyone has fitted any additional gauges to a Disco 1 Ive got oil temp, water temp, oil pressure and boost gauges now on my 200sx i had a sandwich plate inbetween block and oil filter, does anyone know if there are any of these available to fit the 200tdi or is there someeasier way of connecting the senders? thanks Chris

Lovely thanks mark.. My only plans to use the second batery for lighting and phone chargers in the back... ive seen a split charging system on maplins website for £9, but it will only do 20a would this be sufficient, or get the 180a x-eng one? thanks once again
