  1. This is sort of what I'm planning with my Freelander and I know they aren't the ideal vehicle but in some ways its more interesting to use a vehicle that not everyone has used before. It has its own challenges though (mine is a 3-door 1.8 petrol) so its not the ideal base model for an expedition truck. That said its reliable (gulp), economical, sound for light off-roading and has lots of storage space, its also cheap and pretty easy to fix. I have made some modifications already (roofrack, lights, storage, electrical hookups etc) and I intend to carry on and see how it goes. Stoo B)
  2. Well I can confirm that it does in fact fit nicely. Seems a pretty good piece of kit too! It has Holes for attachments and lights etc. Stoo
  3. Well I took Duckworth's advice who were very helpful and knowledgeable and bought one. So I will report back on Monday whether it fits for sure (with pictures) Stoo
  4. Hi all, Just a quick question I was wondering if someone could answer conclusively for me. I want to get a roof rack like this: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Freelander-1-Expedit...A1%7C240%3A1318 But I thought before I buy it I would check with my local Bearmach in case they could get it cheaper or without paying for delivery. The thing is they have said it will not fit a 3-door Freelander despite this advert saying it will. I have phoned Land Rover directly and they also assure me it will fit. Does anyone have this roof rack fitted to their 3 door or seen one? Or any more information? Stoo
