Its there for the cruise control..All TD5 D2 have the ability to have it added. All the wiring is there ..Just add 2 switches and it works..touch brakes or clutch and it goes off.

Hi ...Question ? Can i fit a 24 spline 4 pinion diff to the rear off my disco 2 and remove the rotoflex coupling. Its from my old 200tdi disco and can i use the propshaft from the same source. Is it the correct length.. Reason for doing this , i will only need 1 spare diff. Thanks Roy

No Code Garage just said fuel pump cut off or inertia switch faulty or wiring to both faulty..Now been 2 weeks and its now running fine..Must just be a bad conection somewhere..Thanks roy

Trust the garage ? I dont...Since then its been a case of cold start , problem been ok but a hot restart would bring up problem ..Then 2 weeks of all systems ok..Bloody electronics..Just keeping my fingers crossed its just a glitch..Roy

Problem started today on my 98 2.0L diesel freelander..Stopped to fill up with fuel and when i restarted engine revs went to 2000 and back down to tickover (strange) never done that before. When i drove it away i noticed the engine check light was on and the engine was running at reduced power, Limp home mode?. I took it to a independant LR dealer who plugged it into the computer and they told me the inertia switch or injector pump solenoid maybe faulty or the wiring to these units . Now am i being stupid but if these items or wiring are faulty then surely the engine shouldnt run..The garge wants me to leave the car for 2 days to let them find the fault ,Oh and it maybe a faulty ECU..Anybody got any thoughts on what the problem can be..Many thanks Roy
