    Hi should have said its a 1986 was originally a diesel then got replaced with a 3.5 v8 which died that was removed sat around a couple of years and now its mine. Thanks for the help David

    Hi everyone I have a 51 plate defender 90 which has a lot of play in the steering i cheched the box and does not seem to be there with a friend on the wheel and holding the shaft still the play is in the column is this easy to change or is ther any adjustment on it? Regards David

    Hi i have a discovery 300tdi which the water pump is making a lot of noise which caused it to over heat and loose water i after allowing hour or so to cool i re filled with water and started the engine almost instantly it built up a lot of pressure causing water to come out the top of the expantion tank is this causedjust by the no good water pump or have i done some damage? David

    even stranger is under the green brush paint there is sand colour normal as sheet suplied with it says it was in Egypt but under the sand colour its bright pink

    Hello Ray i was given the series 3 by a guy who did not want it, its all reasonably sound want to try to get it as near to standard as possible. I got the snorkel fitted on the 2a and the new wheels really made a difference. Best wishes David

    Hi i have just fitted a new set of 8 spoke steel wheels to my 1970 series 11a but the studs do not apear to be long enough nut is only going on just over half way any one else had this problem and where is good for new studs? David

    Hello thankyou keep a eye on it should be more picks on today just fitted a 300 tdi snorkel etc all ways good for idea's. How far you plan to take it in to defender land? David
