  1. Don't complain mates. Spare part prices over here are multiplyed x 3
  2. Bought 3 sets of the britpart's yellows for my friends. Nice boxes, but inside was mixed-up: two more shock bushes, but two less for the panhard, two more for rear rad arm, two less for front arm, so..bear in mind.
  3. Cause it's not working. There is two wires coming out of the box going to the engine bay, with sensors at each end but they are smashed....
  4. Thanks! It will be removed anyway
  5. This is exactly what are we doing - I'm runing with set of Lemforders and a friend ot mine with set of these (see pic attached) I'll let you know wich one will fail first
  6. Paddock offers some cheap of these but with grease nipples. Looks bigger and heavier than Delphi's and seems to last longer...
  7. You had a lot fun! Envy... I presume these yellow springs are the S***parts heavy duty's one from Paddock. Why dont you try the Bearmach blue ones? The "offroad" type, not heavy duty type. They are softer so more articulation is expected. Then you'll need wide angle props and straps or cones They(bearmach) also offer 3" kit. Then you'll need castor correction chalices and double cardon props Oh and dont forget polibushes Followed by bigger tires, HD shafts,HD CV joints, higher diff ratio, then diff locks... Cheers!
  8. I found that when you change UJ's too often, the yokes gets worn(the holes where the caps gets into) I fitted wide angle propshafts 6 months ago. No problems at the moment.
  9. Sorry.... Mine was burning 2-3 liters of oil per 1000 km. All the piston rings, two of the pistons and crankshaft bearing has gone, along with the oil pump gears, valve seals ... turbocharger also
  10. I'm sorry for what happened. Can't help you really much, but I have a question: How many miles was the engine passed? I'm just about to rebuild mine 200Tdi, it' s on 200.000 miles...
  11. off: I bought a front propshaft labeled Britpart. Guess what! Way out of ballance. One of the flanges has missalignment of 1mm. What a vibrator...
  12. Thanks a lot! Bow down to you western! Wish you all the best...to you and your family, friends, vehicles and so on... I knew I can count on you mates
  13. Hi Does anybody know what is the difference between "sdt X" & "std Y" ? The assembly is sold by the ****ddock shops and some others, but no additional info... This will be my first 200TDi rebulding, so I expect a lot of surprises
  14. Hmm, thanks! Never thought about VIN numbers
