  2. Yes just as I thought it's acting almost as you descried but sometimes it'll put engine management light on so I have to turn lignition off and on again Also when cruising with foot just on the pedal if you go to accelerate it doesn't miss as sutch it skips a beat if you know what I mean So the question is now genuine part or are the after market one's just as good Thanks Bob

  5. Yeh can't quite get me head round it myself they aren't LR dealers more like 4x4 after market surplyers but seem to do a lot of LR repairs & services haven't charged me anything for diagnostic work as yet all they've said is that the to halfs of the As10 unit aren't communicating and the unit is breaking down inside and they want £400 including fitting. I don't know anything about the unit myself at all so what they say is would not make any sense to me whether they are right or wrong just don't know whether to go with them or replace with another one and fit central locking with keyless entry I'll just have to price that up Could do with some ideas of who's at their that could do that sort of system if it could be done at all Bob
  6. Sorry for the delay just had no time anyway it turns out that the alarm system is breaking and alarm side is not talking to the emobaliser side so in short they want best part of £400. Including fitting for a new one Now thing is I hardly ever use it but don't want it packing up altogether so does anybody know of a system out that will give me a alarm system and key less entry and central locking that would replace the standard system for around about the same price any suggestions help or another idea would be great Thanks Bob

Oh yes the alarm works as normal I think when activated open door/switch ignition on alarm goes off and engine won't start deactivate no alarm and it starts but light stays on and intirea light doesn't come on and off I'm just worried it's going to pack up all together got a feeling its not gong to be simple. Everything else that's gone wrong with this truck hasn't been went to change indicated bulb other day had to drill the heads off the screws nothing been simple or an easy fix on this one Bob

  15. not a massive fan of britpart but don't they offer a warranty on there stuf now . And did you report the problem to them because if they don't know about it they won't change their surplyers course I doubt they make any of the parts they surply. But I have never had any problems with Delphi parts on anything

Do you get the wiring and switches with it or is all that extra And do you need a auto election to wire it up or is it reasonably staight forward (hate electrics) Any suggestions help or advice would be good thanks bob
