  2. simtek is correct and they do a kit to put tdv6 into p38 or disco onto their respective boxes i think ,i know the guy who fabbed them ito the cars for simtek to use as guinepigs
  3. clutch fork pivot (part that bolts in side bell housing) point may have worn or broken think its also the guide for the release brg (all one unit) may be a good idea to get one on a sale or return basis or fit it anyway ,regards gatso.

  5. no trouble 2 min job !! just another quick fix idea ,,,,!! did five in the jungle when a loose flange sheared ,,lasted the rest of the journey (500 jungle miles)
  6. as above but use a Viagra shaped Allen key ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, sorry couldn't resist
  7. screw a same thread rod into hole then drill a hole side on through the hub and into the threaded rod and then a bit further into hub knock in a roll-pin and then use a nut and washer to tighten flange up done this as a temp before and its still temping now several years on ...lol
  8. hi ,,had same prob with a defender that had 20" on and spacers pre load showed no sign of being incorrect and and had no wear in pins ,re set pre load on swivel pins 3lb to 4lb higher than speck ,this eliminated problem ,gatso
  9. super glue and baking soda ,,,utube it it works a treat ,,

  11. hi ,saying hello and to say milli in classic land rover mag is mine ,,,the steering mod took some thought but turned out simple really ,, she has done 300 miles with no faults ,,if this mod is of use to anyone and you require more piccys, help or discussion just ask on here or the lightweight forum or you are more than welcome to come and have a butchers at it ,,, and a brew ,,,regards vinny
