  1. Hi everyone I have come across some landrover alloys, think they came off a range rover a while ago, but they dont fit my hubs.. I have seen these wheel spacers that look like they would do the trick, as the hole in the alloys is too small to fit the hub through. But these spacers are £250 which is out of my price range.. saw these on ebay but i dont think they would fit or would they? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/LAND-ROVER-DEFENDER-...A1%7C240%3A1318 Its a 1985 swb if that makes a difference, and does that mean that any defender with alloys has these spacers on them?? Thanks Sam
  2. Great thanks alot- all good stuff to think about.. and fix eventually! mad cowz and anyone else, where would you put a sub? bearing in mind i have 90 With inward facing folding seats, not bench ones. Would love to see some pics if anyones got any..? Thanks Sam
  3. Yea i agree! I picked up all my stuff 2nd hand off ebay.. I checked my wiring and its not shorting anywhere. Although my wiring was abit carp as it ran through the same wire to the battery as my spots lights on the front for about 2 inches before the battery so ive sorted this and il see if it makes a difference.. More random audio questions- if my speakers get distortion when i turn them up is this carp speakers or them not getting enough power? and would an amp make this better or worse?? Thanks again.. Sam
  4. Right thanks.. I have a seperate line running from straight from the battery to the head unit, i think its just cuts out when its starved of power and the audio is using the most so it cuts out first. Is the onlyway to combat this getting a second battery? Sam
  5. Hi I at the moment have a sony head unit, with 2x14cm front speakers and two 6x9's running off it. I have heard different things about wether i should buy a sub-woofer or an amp to give my present speakers more power.. Also i have a problem whereby by head unit keeps cutting out if i put it above the 20 volume setting.. this happens more when i have stuff turned on (spot lights+ full beam/ wind screen wipers/ heater etc..) is this just becasue the weather is cold becasue it didnt happen in the summer.. and if i got a amp im guessing i would need another battery? Thanks any thoughts would be greatly recived! Sam 1987 White SWB
