Shackleton
Children! Pity there isn't an affordable lump that took all the benefits from both sides... my specialist tells me the Tdi is fantastic as long as it's fed genuine parts when it's supposed to be. Heh sounds like on of those Tamagotchi pets I know the fun poking is over but I thought of a sweet burn so; Hey, even when the V8 is so crapped out it sounds like a Tdi - it still puts out more power *snigger* So there! geoffbeaumont
Pity there isn't an affordable lump that took all the benefits from both sides... An Isuzu turbo diesel, according to quite a few on here. Or maybe an LS1 chevy* * As long as you don't take into account all the transmission upgrades you'll be needing... Shackleton
I think one of these http://www.scania.co.uk/Engines/marine_engines/ (read 16 litre V lump) no suspension and a large pointy plough on the front, crocodile skin interior and mini bar. Set co-ordinates as the crow flies to where ever you want to go and let the autopilot do the rest why go over stuff when you can go through it OH and the most important thing - Flight Of the Valkyries blasting on external speakers as you go
Chris Abel
The problem has now been solved i gave the engine a good service and checked all the conections etc and it runs as good as new again. I think it was the fuel filter because it had not been changed in a long time and was full of cr%p. Thanks for your help on this. I did a few mods to the bodywork whilst i had the tools out.!! Hybrid_From_Hell
Read this thread from the start, was thinking TPS PRV or Fuel filter then I saw the picture of the carnage. Bit rought getting to the filter weren't you Reminds me of a 80s British Leyland Poster I saw of a car completely taken apart and every part laid out around the shell, can't rememebr the offical tag line but I do remember that some wag had written on it "Hello, Mrs Smith, .........yes its the service dept here, ..........I afraid we haven't yet found that squeak you mention to us,..............." blz6662
lol at the words 'nice' and 'Tdi' used in conjunction Seriously though I'd love a diesel lump, a V8 diesel lump from a Scania or something I even want to get myself trained up as a D engineer But you're not doing it right if you don't have yo D running Biodiesel or Voil - My Rangie (and pretty much everything else I get from here in will do. And if you're eco conscience doesn't bother you then just look at it financially... OK this has been a gratuitous use of smilies I need to go rest Too many emotions Just to chip in try v8tuner.co.uk I think thats Real Steel cheers Bade
