Dave P
Does anyone have any ideas where I can get a steel corugated bush that can be used to hold the gear knob on. My gear stick has no threads on its end cheers Dave P
western
that bush is part of the gear knob, the knob screws on to the lever thread
simonr
I replaced mine with an M10 Riv-nut. It expanded into the plastic - and stuck good! Si
landrover598
20 layers of electrical tape also works surprisingly well.
Davo
I filled the gear knob on my LT95 with glue from a glue gun and after it cooled, drilled it to about the right size and screwed it on. It's lasted longer than the new Genuine Part did!
Kevm
I turned and tapped an alloy bush then glued it in with JB weld, perfect.
