Landyspud
Hi guys been looking at one of these boost pins which fits in the fuel pump and replaces the standard one was wondering if anyone thought they're worth they're money or has fitted one ? Already tuned up the overall fuel delivery and turbo/intake system. Cheers

vulcan bomber
You can seriously overfuel a TDI with the standard pump....
Snagger
The profile of the pin isn't wildly different from the steepest profile of the standard pin, which has variable profile by being machined eccentrically.
Ex Member
The boost pins do have a different profile than the stock pins. They give less off boost fueling with the maximum on boost fueling. This lets you have no smoke with the proper peak boost fueling if you are running high boost levels. The stock pins do not have enough range at high boost to give the right levels both on and off boost. They are not a good choice if you are running 15 psi, but make sense at 25. Snagger
That's an awful lot of stress for the engine to handle.
Bowie69
My reference to being just is also referring to poor quality materials, that wear badly. If you do a search for them you should see a few threads about it.

You can't make a blanket statement that they are all junk when many different company make them.
