ianmayco68
Hi all, have done the td5 instrument and warning panel upgrade in my 200 tdi project but got a couple of warning lights that stop on ones the brake level warning light but after a search have found that might be the float stuck in the reservoir cap as it has stood for 2 years with no fluid in it, but the other is the glow plug light it comes on at start up and stays on if I tap the screen it goes out then comes back on again, electrics are new to me and I'm learning slowly any help to point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated as I've booked her in for mot on Tuesday after 2 years rebuilding her. cheers Ian

western
the timer relay operates the light, a while ago mine went out very quickly, a new timer cured that,
ianmayco68
Cheers western all sorted put relay in out of 90 and all as works as should will order a new one just to be sure. Just need to sort the interior lights know got power at fuse ( 1st fuse top left hand corner) but no power at the purple wire under the dash that went to the original switch which I've taken out and the td5 clock doesn't work either, think they might have been linked into another wire and when I did the instrument upgrade I've cut it to use the wires. cheers Ian
