simonpelly Posted April 13, 2017 Share Posted April 13, 2017 Hi Folks, Fitted some new folding steps to my Defender 110 300Tdi. There were already existing steps but they had seen better days. As such, there were already bolt threads in the chassis for the brace arm bolts. However, not sure about the orientation of the new brace arms. Below are two images. Mine.JPG, is well, mine. The brace arm is horizontal but facing down. The instructions show orientation as being up. The Ebay.jpg is one found on the web. The arm is facing up as per instructions but the brace arm is now at an angle. It is possible to twist my brace arms around as per the Ebay.jpg - just seems odd being at an angle. Thoughts please.
