Hi all ive joined in the past and helped a few out and you did help me so iam afraid i have to ask again . my mrs has  a freelander 2 on a 2010 plate lovely car pulls like a train

i came home to find it making a loud noise under load , in the past with various cars , Jag freelander 1 etc . it was a large intercooler pipe which had split

this time ive not lost power though and i had a quick look and found some pipes poorly assembled and sorted them, these were the plastic pipes which run over the top of the engine from the air filter box and then down the left hand side of the engine directly attaching to the turbo, these are all fine now but the noise is still there , and now the engine management light has come on , she doesn't overheat , she hasn't lost power but the noise after 2000 rpm is loud . any help pinpointing where the slippery sucker photos if i can be so cheeky too :) maybe if there is at all a pipe thats split. iam in your hands guys , any help would be gratefully received and will i cause damage if we use the car before i get home and sort this problem.
