Q Cars, (not plates)

Hi all, new to the forum but it's a thought i've been having 

a capable offroader is easy enough, (almost any LR vehicle) how about a seriously good offroader/tourer, what would you use without spoiling the road user appearance ?

(so it still looks like mum doing the school run) (disco?)

Version 1  An "On the pretty Cheap version" (best bang for the buck

and Version 2,  the "that cost a month's salary for that titanium bolt set" version ?( roof racks allowed if not heaped up with 300 litres of jerry cans ) 

be interesting to see how much of a difference there is 

be very interesting to see the version one and two Disco's and Defenders however the Q i mean is ike the anti submarine ship, not the KFC subject below 8)
