Wolf Fuel Pump Diaphragm & Pin

Recommended Posts

I believe the Land Rover XD Wolf has a centred, symmetrical pin connected to the fuel pump diaphragm on its 300tdi engine. Is that correct?

Can anyone tell me the part number and where to get one? thanks.

I've never heard of this before, what would the reason be for having symmetrical boost pin?

AFAIK it just a bog standard 300tdi same as any civvy factory built 300, best place to find out the info is by giving the injection pump part number to a Bosch diesel parts supplier

It's a standard boost pin - I know this because I have a pump from a Wolf engine on my RRC engine.

sorry, only repeating what i was told at a garage last week by some working on a defender.  i'm ignorant about fuel injector pumps but curious about pins, performance and mpg hence the question.

thanks Ralph.  Do you know if the XD/Wolf heater/blower fan is the same as the civvy defender or if it was uprated?

Some have extra heaters in the rear compartment for Winter operations, I suspect most of the kit is standard but might be uprated to 24volts operation.
