Snagger Posted January 10, 2018 Share Posted January 10, 2018 One of the three 80" displayed on the launch of Land Rover at the 1948 Amsterdam Motor Show has been scooped up by LR for restoration at Solihull. Apparently, it spent over 20 years dead in a Welsh field, so it's a wonder it survived at all. landroversforever Posted January 11, 2018 Share Posted January 11, 2018 I'd normally be in the camp for just restoring the driveline to working condition and stopping the condition worsening. however as its a launch vehicle I'd be pleased to see it restored back to as it was at the motor show. The owner turned up at Billing with it and said he was going to do a full restoration on it.
