Gazzar Posted July 2, 2018 Share Posted July 2, 2018 Did you use the pu as a barrier? Galv to ally isn't the worst, but steel to ally is bad. Google galvanic corrosion. Just followed that link for the old manual and read that the recommended flux was 'Hari Kari' . I couldn't find that on the net so I presume its long gone?..... in which case what flux does anyone recommend now please?,... I know when I get to the stage of trying it I am not the quickest pair of hands and I think flux is going to be essential to prevent the oxide layer reforming.
