miketomcat
Technically you need a heater or heated windscreen to demist under construction and use, it's an IVA fail if non present. @Bowie69if your frame is a bowler/tomcat you might be in luck as tomcat Motorsport do a heated windscreen. I had one in mine and it was one of the best purchases, I wish I could get one for the ibex. @elbekkoits a bit later for a support group as most of us are already here, I was laying under mine in -5 on Saturday so I guess that make me a signed up member. landroversforever
Even I only managed an hour sorting in the workshop before I couldn't feel my fingers the other day Need to track down a new section of chimney.

I've never had the luxury of a heated workshop, if your working you tend not to notice it as much. I always find its easier to warm up when working than it is to cool down when your too hot Anyway you get used to the cold up north......... Anderzander
Not for me me. I had an injured wood pigeon freeze to death in my garden last night It looked more mobile than I am. I think I was Livignio when it was -16° and I’d have been more prone to set fire to a Land Rover for warmth than crawl underneath it trying to repair it. Technically, I have a permanently installed cloth, does that count? I have to undo my shoulder straps to reach said windscreen, but I'm sure that's OK, right? 59 minutes ago, miketomcat said: @Bowie69if your frame is a bowler/tomcat you might be in luck as tomcat Motorsport do a heated windscreen. I guess that is the big question, and I would agree, a heated screen would be amazing, and no weight penalty

This might seem basic to you guys but I am totally moronic when it comes to the dark art of electricity regards Stephen

By chance I was making up some relay boards for two Defenders yesterday to do just this

landroversforever
For the steering column, Is there a shorter option for the first section then extend the lower so its a more shallow angle. Would that clear the suspension?
Stellaghost
Any good advice with the steering out there This is where I'm at, original shaft can be moved out of position slightly but still interferes with shock space I have found this in my stores but don't know what it is off I would have to figure out how to match them up unless I'm a joint missing and I could buy one. I can elongate the steering shaft hole and move steering in slightly which would also help things ???regards Stephen
