CwazyWabbit
Are you stitching the canvas yourself or getting a ready made one? Normally I wouldn't ask but you have many talents 1

Bowie69
Canvas is way more flexible, back up, down, sides up, down, folded up and shoved in the load area and fully open top.

I have shortened a canvas and put a new window in rear flap before, however both done with a conventional sewing machine which quite honestly is not up to the job. I have made the vinyl seat covers and backs for my 2A lightweight I also unsuccessfully searched for canvas to have a go at making my own, does anyone know a supplier ? If I can get the canvas I may have a go at making my own Regards Stephen

Lorry fitter local to you? Probably get a torn side off a curtain sider or something similar. Local trailer place has a huge tarpaulin covering their spare press-brake awaiting me to fix it - that came off one of those car supermarket places, a massive marquee canvas. Apparently they've used about half of it and the left over bit still weighs in at >3 tonnes...

Stellaghost
Couple of jobs knocked off yesterday Floor plates drilled and rivinuted Recovery points fitted to rear crossmember This is where I'm at today, sorting out fitting roll cage, new attachment points to make for the front, plus the addition of a bar across where the windscreen demister vents go and a better arrangement at the cross member at the back of the seats Regards Stephen
Anderzander
That giant engine crane is worth its weight in gold. I can see why you’d want to sew your own canvas now. I wonder is undercover covers would sell you some? They buy their canvas in from a German company and it’s really fantastic quality.
