Mog 404 axles

Front axle case welded up just need it to cool remove it from the jig blend it and rebuild it to make sure all turning with no tight spots

Pieced together

 Built up and everything turning fine, pleased about that as much more fabrication and welding on this axle compared to the rear one

Yes, but your plans seem to actually be successful, unlike mine which are usually ambitious but a bit rubbish :glare:

 What about spring, suspension and shocker mounts also bump stop and pan hard rod plus I need to fabricate radius arms or single link set up

Axle stripped back down this morning and back on bench for fabbing and fitting the the other stuff

What engine is in the lightweight?

I work shifts, sleep carp on nights so in garage through the day, back shift I'm away at 14:00 but in the garage from around 07:30. When my good lady away competing with dogs I will be in the garage 12/15 hrs per day

200 tdi in lightweight with no engine mods as yet regards Stephen
