Baker
I went to have another look at the project I bought today and I found it came with 3 new doors. Obviously these are going to need painting 😟 if I fit them. Are the old ones that bad? There is also a spare bulkhead that looks ok to me. There are 4 bonnets one I think is a S1 the skins look fine but the frames are crusty  cheers Craig
Gazzar
Every thing is repairable, if you don't need, sell them on.
Baker
What do you think of the older doors could they be welded up?
Gazzar
Sure, repair pieces available from most on line retailers. As long as the curves bit is intact it's worth doing, original doors are worth keeping. You can tell original door frames when you take the skin off, as they have a slight U relief on the skin side. Troll Hunter
Repair of the ccurved sections is not that difficult.  I had zero metal fabrication or welding experience but did an acceptable job. The write up is here:  Page 2 shows the rot around the curved door sections and pp. 5, 6 show the repairs. Hope this encourages you to persevere.
