Disco 1 - windscreen DAB aerial fitting

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I'm looking to fit a windscreen DAB aerial and need to get the cable from the top left corner of the windscreen to the back of the radio.

I can run the cable down the inside of the pillar trim but does anyone have any ideas of how to get it across inside the dash area without taking it all out?

Thanks

Steve

Thats it, from the antenna run the wire  behind the A pillar trim into the fuse box area.  With the head unit remove push a flexable cable tie along side the main wiring loom that can be seen between the head unit area and the top left hand side of the fuse box area, in any direction that's easy for you... when you see the cable tie attached your wire securely to it and pull back out of the head unit area with the tie with the wire attached,  any surplus wiring cans be coiled and left behind the fuse box.

Job done, simples.
