What does this plug into?

I have posted this on the Discovery Forum but it equally applies to the Defender so hopefully someone can assist me.

Can anyone tell me where the green plug at the very bottom of the picture goes. I have just transplanted the engine from my 1999 TD5 into my 2001 TD5 after I blew the gearbox.

I suspect it is a sensor because the car keeps going into limp mode.

The plug is on the offside and it is in the loom that connects with the vacuum sensor if that makes sense.

Well, none of those colours tie in with the defender looms. Only green multiplug of that type under the bonnet goes where I said previously. Looked through the >02 onwards electrical library and couldn't find another green plug of that type.

Brown/pink and an Orange?? Going by your pic and the one above this is it...however the cct code means it's on Japanese spec vehicles only...so maybe it wasn't connected at all?

Any idea what it is connected to on Japanese vehicles? Makes me wonder if one of the cars was a Japanese import.
