Retroanaconda Posted May 17, 2018 Share Posted May 17, 2018 It’s part of the spring seat, which is welded to and forms part of the the axle casing. I think Ian may be referring to the bolt-on bit that goes on top, and which the spring actually sits onto. Those are a seperate part and easily replaceable as suggested, however they do not wear as such - just rust. YRM sell replacements, you need to cut the old ones off and weld new ones on.
