Front doors - waterproof sheets/shredders?

My 1991 front doors cards are all dynamatted and foam covered and ready to go back on the doors.
Is it worth ordering some of the original plastic waterproof sheets to fit? 
(Or will the newer shredders fit also?)

OK, which ones should I get - old style or new shredders (assuming they fit?)

I haven't seen what you mean by "shredders".  I didn't notice any difference in drafts between the old, early push button 110 doors and those on the late models, as long as the doors were adjusted to close properly.

Later puma shedders are foam for the steel doors. They may not be an exact fit on earlier doors but they probably work. Here's what they look like

They may have a sound deadening property but other than that, if you ever go back inside the door then you have to cut it whatever it is

They look to be made for electric windows, so could foul the manual winder mechanism, but they look easy to modify with a hot glue gun or contact adheive and will certainly be better for noise reduction.

It's the same part for both, with a scored area to push through the manual winders
