Freelander Loadcovers

Is it just me? I've just bought a 2010 Freelander 2 HSE but the loadcover is missing. My previous purchase was a 2006 Freelander 1 Facelift HSE and that also came minus a loadcover.

In fact, I bought another Freelander 1 for work, and that was missing the loadcover.  Is there a shed somewhere full of 'lost' loadcovers?

They seem expensive items to source and replace :(

Don't worry I have the same issue, might be even worse as the trim is light coloured not the usual black......I looked at several FL2 before buying and about half had no load covers, must be the owners carry dogs/high loads frequently and just forget them when PX'ing.

None on the usual auction sites so far.

Most annoying.

I'm pretty sure we  must still have the load cover from my mother's FL2 in the garage or loft somewhere. It had to come out to fit the dog boxes in the boot.

The car was written off some time ago, so the cover is surplus.

If anyone is interested, speak up, and I'll see if I can find it.

The car had a dark interior. I don't know if load cover colours varied.

Unfortunately the load covers did vary in colour......I suggested to Mrs BB we could use a black cover but have been overruled, so the hunt is on for a light version.
