Gazzar
Nah, might not be native English speaker, or may be a dyslexic. But the answer is, probably not. The spline count is different for standard wheels. Bit why would you fit a tacky plastic steering wheel to a series vehicle?
Arjan
IIRC the first Ninety and OneTen models had the same amount of splines.

Nope, it's the chunky Tdi steering wheels that fit. The hard 4-spoke and TD5/Puma wheels with removable centre boss both share the same splines as eachother, so you can swap those generations of "Defenders", but not fit them to a Tdi or Series. Metro and Montego wheels fit the Series columns, but you'll need to adapt the collar from the back of the Series wheel to press against the column bearing preload spring and for the indicator self cancelling. western
http://www.web-rover.co.uk/articles-steeringwheels.html You will have to count the splines on the Series column to see if it's 36 or 48 spline, then make your choice from the types in the link above, also some older Austin Rover car steering wheels fit as well. neil110
The wheel from a 300Tdi will fit a series 3 steering column, a friend had one fitted to his for years
