Panhard Rod Bush - To/from 2A

Recommended Posts

I'm looking to change all of the bushes at the front of my 1991 110, however it is fitted with a TD5 axle so it makes it harder to blindly order the correct parts.

Armed only with the knowledge that I have a TD5 front axle how can I determine if I should order:
ANR3410  https://www.lrworkshop.com/parts/ANR3410  (Chassis VINs to 2A626645 (2002 MY)
RBX101340  https://www.lrworkshop.com/parts/RBX101340 (Chassis VINs from 2A626646 (2002 MY)

If it helps, the  Radius arm to axle bush is the '46mm wide - To KA' version

Also probably worth checking this as well if somebody can help....

On the Radius arm to chassis bush there is either
NRC4514  - to VA130784 (1997 MY) or
ANR6971 - from VA130785 (1997 MY)

Is there any way to tell them apart?
Else I'm guessing I go for the VIN correct option (NRC4514) on that one seeing as the Radius arm to axle bush is VIN correct so they should match....

NRC4514 as they're matched to the chassis hole rather than the radius arm.

Are you using 46mm wide front radius arms?

Yes, you should clarify.  None of them are 46 mm.  You will need the wide bushings and arms for the TD5 axle.  If you use the narrow arm and the wide axle, it will all be very loose.

Below are  the metric numbers, but the real size is the narrow is 1-1/2" width at the radius arm and the wide is 1-3/4".

Narrow:
* Outer diameter: 51.00mm
* Outer length: 38.00mm
* Inner diameter: 16.00mm
* Inner length: 47.00mm

Wide:
* Outer diameter: 50.50mm
* Outer length: 44.30mm
* Inner diameter: 16.20mm
* Inner length: 54.00mm

Yes, at least when I measure them fitted that what it shows.
It's 45mm across and I can see the bush is sticking out a mm or so either side

I'm completely confused! 🙂 46mm is in reference to the "the  Radius arm to axle bush is the '46mm wide - To KA" comment in the original post
I guess there is no way to measure this when it's fitted?
