roamingyak
Ive had my rear chassis cross member replaced and as part of the work we took the wiring loom out of the chassis, protected it and put it along the top of the chassis rails - so the hole it normally comes out of is left gaping - and much to my surprise the workshop left all 4 large holes exposed on the chassis that will happily fill up with carp over time. Seems sensible to blank these off with stiff rubber grommets for example? Is there a standard part number I can use if so?
western
Might be some suitable blanks here -- https://uk.rs-online.com/web/c/cables-wires/cable-glands-strain-relief-grommets/rubber-grommets/ there areother large holes at thr front end to where the chassis loom goes into chassis inner face on left & right sides
dailysleaze
There won't be a part number as they are left open, so measuring and finding your own grommet is the way to go If that crossmember is aftermarket, make sure it has drainage holes at the lowest point on the chassis leg, or drill some if not. Mine filled with water in 3 winter driving days.
