Green200tdi
Want to cut a hole in seat box. for this the main part of the loom to under seat fuse box (see photo) any idea of Gromit size? 😊 thank you

Green200tdi
So the TD5 ignition switch and stalks all fit was a tad worried about these two but happy now so just the td5 loom to go in I’ll be happy to be honest I’m gob smacked this 110 didn’t go up in flames 🔥 before now😳
Green200tdi
You never know what to expect when you strip out an old dirty dash, if I’d had this fuse go how would I have know this was it? As I have no hand book wonder what it’s for? yellow brown to white strange fuse inside
western
Thats the charge light resistor NOT a fuse.

Green200tdi
Well can’t do anything until my son comes over sometime this week so In the TD5 loom goes, bulkhead rubbers are a perfect fit for the 110 everything seems in the right place brake lights and ignition switch to name a few ( yes I know the wires may not be correct on the ignition switch just to see if all lined up) are connected, very happy so far, see photos anyone know the correct route for the main cable? Green200tdi
So it’s all coming together nicely, only draw back so far (I don’t know if it’s just me) but as the wiring harness is in the dash inside now the black plastic cover don’t seem to want to go back where as before you only had wires from the fuse box to supply things like your radio rear wiper fag lighter you get the idea but I’m ok as I have a raptor dash so most wiring is closed off don’t know how much the td5 covers so all in all good job front looms in both sides lights working just the rear loom now job done ✅ Edited May 24, 2019 by Green200tdi
Green200tdi
So today have fitted the led lights with plugs to go in to the td5 loom, and the original 110 wiper motor works a treat on this loom off slow fast and intermittent something I never had before 👍
Green200tdi
Im routing the rear lights loom over the top of the chassis as the orange plug is to big to go thu the original hole, Cable not required on the td5 loom, Clutch Sensor, so the ecu knows when a gear change is in progress. see photo Edited May 28, 2019 by Green200tdi

Green200tdi
As I’m keeping the original windscreen washer bottle for now I made an extension lead for the windscreen washer pump as the td5 washer bottle is in different place £6,50 not bad 😊

Green200tdi
ok so all is well with the new td5 loom in my old 110 but winter is around the corner so time to wire in the glow plugs design a timer relay set up, before anyone asks no i dont have an ecu, can someone link me to a post on here for wiring diagrams please,
steve b
The timer relay and loom from the old set up is straightforward to install rather than designing anything , assuming you have it . cheers Steve b

Green200tdi
quick question, i know the fuel gauge is connected too the td5 electronic speedo, does the water temp gauge work same way with the speedo too?
western
Just updated this to ditch a dead photobucket link, timer unit connections in relay photo & what wire & colour in diagram. it should work, Autosparks can sell you a sub loom to fit this. LR timer unit for glowplugs is PRC6913, subloom plug in to main loom is PRC6083
western
Have a look at the td5 wiring diagram, the temp sender is on a green with blue trace wire, marked as GU.
