Iwan200p Posted January 30, 2019 Share Posted January 30, 2019 Hi all, on my R380 transfer box my diff lock will not engage and the light won’t come on, also in 4th gear at about 30mph there is a rattling noise coming from the top of the gearbox, sounds similar to a loose floor panel rattling Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

neil110 Posted January 31, 2019 Share Posted January 31, 2019 (edited) If the diff lock will not engage it is usually a simple matter of adjusting the linkage. The rattling might be associated with your inability to engage diff lock, the aforementioned linkage might be loose. I think I have a picture somewhere showing the relevant linkage.
